Welcome Homeschool Hackers!

Welcome to Homeschooling for Free, the site where I have dumped am dumping all my links to free resources I think homeschoolers might find useful.  Now, I must be entirely honest with you here.  When I was asked to contribute to Homeschool Hacks, I was overwhelmed with feelings of inadequacy.  Why?  Because all the other contributors seem to have their stuff put together.  And I don’t.  All my handy dandy homeschool hacks are scattered in about 5 different places.  So because I generally overact to things, am so on top of things, I’ve spent the last week putting this new site together.  And it’s not finished.  Not that I expected it to be finished, because you should see how many resources I have yet to post.  Holy Guacamole.  Hi, my name is Amy and I’m a resource-collecting addict.

So here’s the deal.  Browse the categories to the right.  Yes, some of them are pretty thin, but they’re gettin’ plumper by the day.  And there will be more categories to come, just you wait.  And if you don’t find what you’re looking for, you can check out my other blog where I recently did a Homeschooling for Free series.  In that series you’ll find many of the same links, but many more others.  Here are the posts:

  1. Homeschooling for Free: 48 Language Arts Resources
  2. Homeschooling for Free: 15 Math Resources
  3. Homeschooling for Free: 18 Unit & Theme Resources
  4. Homeschooling for Free: 13 Foreign Language Resources
  5. Homeschooling for Free: 33 Literature Resources
  6. Homeschooling for Free: 26 Fine Arts Resources
  7. Homeschooling for Free: 31 Social Studies Resources
  8. Homeschooling for Free: 20 Science Resources

In any case, I hope you find a few things that are helpful.  Homeschooling doesn’t have to cost a lot of money.  The internet is ripe with learning opportunities.  I hope this site will be a place where you can find them easily.

Enjoy!
